Lind Delivers Traffic img

The Production Department is highly committed to creating strong and effective designs for our clients. With a creative team that meets several times each week to discuss and brainstorm artwork ideas, Lind Outdoor works hard to ensure that our clients get the most bang for their buck. We work with our clients to create an advertising campaign that is effective for billboards yet tailored to their individual needs. Our goal is for the production process to be as easy as possible for our clients.

Production Guidelines

1. The production process begins about a month and a half before the post date on the contract.

2. Your account executive will discuss your advertising needs with the production manager and creative team.

3. A proof will be created and sent to you via email, along with pricing information.

4. After you give written approval of the proof (through email or by returning a signed copy of the proof to Lind) your production will be ordered. Normally it takes 1-2 weeks after approval of the proof for your posters or vinyls to arrive at Lind Outdoor.

5. Once production has arrived at Lind, you will receive an invoice for your posters or vinyls. This invoice will arrive separately from your monthly ad space invoice.

***Tax and shipping are in addition to production costs***

Artwork: first proof and one change are no charge - additional proofs cost $50 each

Guidelines for Submitted Art

In order to produce quality billboard designs, Lind Outdoor requires client submitted artwork (logos, etc.) to be in the following forms:

All logos should be submitted as vector files. These can usually be acquired from the person who created the logo or a printer who creates business cards, letterhead, etc. for your business. Converting a logo to a vector format will be subject to an extra charge of $35 or more, depend- ing on the complexity of the logo. All jpeg formatted images, particularly photographs must be 300 dpi . Artwork files may be sent to Lind Outdoor via e-mail (production@lindoutdoor.com) with the same format stipulations as above. Vector based graphics are always preferred.

Completely finished artwork in digital form may also be uploaded to some poster houses via the internet. Contact Lind Outdoor for more information. A jpeg image of the finished artwork should be emailed to production@lindoutdoor.com before uploading information is released.

3.5 inch floppy disc, 100 MB Zip disk, or CD Rom can also be accepted. Applications supported: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Freehand, QuarkXpress and Corel Draw (only if exported to Illustrator with all fonts).

Some manufacturers make their logos, co-op information, etc. available over the internet. Clients wishing to utilize these resources will need to provide the proper URL (internet address) and any necessary passwords or login requirements.
